Justice of the Peace of the City of Löbau

• Or you have lent money and the loan was not repaid?

• In a rage or by mistake your car, your bicycle or other things were damaged?

In such cases you do not have to go to court. Simply contact the Löbau Arbitration Board in a very non-bureaucratic way. The Justice of the Peace, Mrs Gabriele Woithe, who is responsible there, will be happy to help you. The motto here is "Arbitration instead of judging".

The costs of a procedure with mediation negotiations are scaled according to the duration and reach up to maximum of a 50 €. Sometimes a case can even be solved without a mediation hearing. If the arbitration is successful, a settlement is reached between the participants, which can be enforced if not complied with.

The arbitration board is not only responsible for Löbau including the local districts. Also the inhabitants of the administrative community of Lawalde and Rosenbach are invited to contact the arbitration board in case of problems.

You can currently reach the Justice of the Peace at the following office hours:

Every 1st Tuesday of the month: 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. in the meeting room of the town hall, room S 0.03, (entrance via town hall, Altmarkt 1).

In August, the office hours will be held on: 09.08.2022 and 16.08.2022.
